Patient Care Tech Haymarket VA Pay From: $20 Per Hour MUST: 2+years of experience as a Patient Care Tech Recent experience in a surgical setting Ability to be trained on an Ophthalmic Laser to enter information in equipment prior to procedures Caring for patients and confirming that they are comfortable Assisting with the recovery of patients Sanitizing and cleaning rooms and turning rooms over for next surgery Knowledge of infection control processes Maintaining cleanliness of rooms Upbeat personality Comfortable assisting and providing support as needed DUTIES: The Duties of the Patient Care Tech include but are not limited to the following: Enter information into Ophthalmic Laser equipment prior to procedures Assist provider Turnover, prepare and clean rooms Assist and care for patients and ensure patients' comfort Document and enter information in EMR Perform efficient and rapid cleaning duties Provide support to nurses Wheel patients into surgical procedures and out after procedures Wheel patients out Provide support as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
