Service Sales Representative - Building Automation / HVAC
Location: Florida (Orlando or Tampa preferred)
Territory: Statewide Florida
Travel: Approximately 80% travel within Florida
Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission + monthly vehicle stipend

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Service Sales Representative to drive revenue through the sale of HVAC service agreements, maintenance contracts, and building automation solutions across the state of Florida. This role is focused on expanding service revenue within commercial and institutional facilities while maintaining strong, longterm customer relationships.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in commercial service sales, with handson experience selling HVAC service agreements and/or building automation systems. This is a fieldbased role requiring frequent travel and strong relationshipbuilding skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Sell service agreements and maintenance contracts for HVAC and building automation systems
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts to expand service scope and contract value
- Prospect and develop new commercial service accounts within assigned territory
- Manage a defined geographic sales territory across Florida
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers
- Conduct regular onsite visits to assess customer needs, ensure satisfaction, and identify upsell opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor for clients regarding service solutions and system performance
Solutions & Systems
- Promote and sell facility system solutions, including:
- Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- HVAC controls and automation
- Preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Security cameras and card access systems
- Related operational technologies used in commercial facilities
- Collaborate with internal service, operations, and engineering teams to ensure smooth implementation and delivery
Territory & Travel
- Travel extensively throughout Florida, including major metro and regional markets
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting for assigned territory
Target Customers
This role supports large commercial and institutional facilities, including:
- Hospitals and healthcare systems
- Theme parks and entertainment venues
- Commercial office and industrial buildings
- Large facility operators and campuses
These customers rely on centralized building automation platforms to manage HVAC, energy usage, and facility operations.
Compensation & Benefits

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC or building automation service sales
- Proven experience selling service agreements or maintenance contracts
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems and/or building automation systems (BAS/DDC)
- Ability to manage a large territory with frequent travel (up to 80%)
- Strong relationshipbuilding, negotiation, and communication skills
- Selfmotivated, resultsdriven sales professional
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling building automation systems, HVAC service contracts, or facility automation solutions
- Background in service sales for automation or controls contractors
- Familiarity with BAS quoting and lifecycle service offerings
- Experience managing longterm, multiyear service agreements
