Description

The RISE Business Systems (RBS) Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance. This role leads efforts to streamline processes, reduce waste, and implement best practices using data-driven methodologies. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
  • Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and coaching to build a culture of continuous improvement across our locations.
  • Manage change initiatives and ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions with team members.
  • Drive standardization of processes and documentation across the organization.
  • Report on progress, risks, and results to senior leadership.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, process improvement, or a related role
  • Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), or other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed environments.


Preferred Skills:



  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Project management experience or certification (PMP or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with change management and people influencing

Work Environment:

This role typically operates in a professional office environment but may require occasional travel to operational sites. The position may involve managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to: Vice President of Operations

Direct Reports: May include Process Improvement Analysts or Continuous Improvement Specialists



Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, on-site, position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday with specific hours to be mutually agreed upon.



Travel:

There is no expected travel required for this position.
