We are looking for an IT Operations Technician in Lake Norden, SD for plant production IT support.

  • Salary range 004: $69,500 a $86,900 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

  • Monday - Friday with occasional on-call (premium)

  • Possibility to travel for work at other Agropur sites as needed

What you will take ownership ofon a daily basis:

The IT Plant Support is responsible for keeping local IT operations at 100% uptime and preventing and minimizing the impact of downtime incidents caused by IT failures as a member of the IT USA group. By diligently fulfilling these roles and responsibilities, the IT Plant Support will significantly contribute to the efficient functioning of IT systems within the plant, ultimately supporting overall productivity and success.

  • Maintain infrastructure, including preventive maintenance and cleaning MDFs/IDFs

  • Maintain up-to-date inventory records for all local IT assets

  • Work in partnership with local Automation (OT) team. Build and maintain strong synergy between IT and OT

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of hardware and software

  • Isolate, reproduce and analyze a wide range of complex technical issues and drive their resolution, either directly or through escalation depending on urgency and complexity.

  • Resolve incidents and requests in a timely manner to eliminate downtime and prevent cost overruns

  • Support local and global IT projects.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and plant operational leaders.

The profile that can truly own the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is an asset

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience as a technical advisor required.

  • Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment preferred.
