Supplier Quality Manager

About this role:
This role presents a fast paced and dynamic leadership opportunity within the Global Supplier Quality Engineering organization. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of Supplier Quality Engineers for Spencer site. Leads a team to onboard, maintain and support material suppliers; investigate supplier-related material and service nonconformances; engage proactively with suppliers to reduce risk and drive continuous improvement. Generates and champions new ideas, approaches, initiatives. Operates with a global perspective across BSC sites, business units, and functions. Provides appropriate oversight, risk evaluation, and action to mitigate impact to Boston Scientific. This individual will work alongside a seasoned leadership team that is motivated to partner for success.

  • Demonstrates proficient cross company communication, cultural sensitivity, and partnership in interactions with others.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and summarizes project progress and results.
  • Influences Sr. Management on potential improvements or enhancements to quality systems and processes for BSC and our suppliers.
  • Contributes to the development and oversight of organization budgets through regular cost analysis and spending.



What we're looking for in you:
Minimum requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of related and progressive work experience in quality engineering within the medical device industry
  • 3+ years demonstrated success leading and developing high performing teams
  • Project management experience
  • Leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Solid computer skills: Minitab; MS Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Maximum Salary: $184300

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com-will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
