Overview

The Person Office (HR) Intern supports the Person Office Manager(s) and Director in the daily administration of HR policies, processes, and procedures and performs a variety of tasks. The primary duty of the Person Office (HR) Intern is to collect and manage employment data and support the hiring, and training, and lifecycle of all employees. This role supports the local Person Office in the areas of compliance, training, employee relations and Mission initiatives, and other HR functions as needed.

This role will require availability to support the pacific time zone.

Full-time employees are eligible to receive paid time off (PTO) benefits based on the Company's current paid time off policies and in accordance with applicable state law. Further, Colorado residents are eligible for Paid Sick and Safety Leave, per applicable state law provisions and Company policy. All benefits are subject to any plan changes at the Company's sole discretion.

Compensation: this position will be paid on an hourly basis with a pay of $18 per hour. This base pay is subject to all applicable statutory deductions and authorized withholdings as required by law. This base pay is also subject to any authorized deductions to contribute toward the employee's portion of benefits premiums and/or 401(k) contributions.



Responsibilities

    Supports internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
  • Compiles and maintains paper, digital, and electronic employee records, including W/C and various leave requests
  • Enters and updates employee records into HRIS system (SuccessFactors) and/or ADP
  • Ensures employee submission of complete requirements before the first pay
  • Generate variety of reports as needed
  • First point-of-contact for employees and answers inquires


Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Timely and detailed oriented
  • Sense of urgency is required
Education and Experience:
  • Currently enrolled in a higher education institution
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
