Corporate Actions Specialist - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Corporate Actions Specialist for a hybrid position (4 days onsite per week) with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 7 month contract to hire opportunity.

This role is responsible for mandatory and voluntary corporate actions claims and custody functions. The specialist will process claims, reconcile and monitor entitlements, perform daily reconciliations for cash and security transactions, and respond to inquiries from various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for mandatory and voluntary corporate actions claims custody functions for all organizational accounts
• With guidance from more senior staff, responsible for processing basic mandatory and voluntary corporate action claims, processing and allocating claim payments, and reaching out to brokers for statuses
• Reconcile, monitor and post entitlements to client accounts
• Perform daily reconciliations for cash, security and suspense transactions as well as adhering to established quality control measures and procedures
• Research and respond to inquiries from internal business groups, depositories, agents, brokers, clients, Investment Managers, sub-custodians and/or custodians
• Contribute to the achievement of team goals and objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel (basic skills, VLOOKUP)
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change
• Ability to work independently

Desired skills:

• Experience in financial services or corporate actions

Pay range: $19.09 - $29.09 per hour
