SIKORA International Corp, a Dover Corporation (DOV) operating company, provides advanced industrial measurement and control solutions for wire, cable, hose, tube and plastics production industries across North America. Utilizing technologies such as laser, xray, millimeter wave, and optical systems, SIKORA delivers precision equipment that ensures product quality and process optimization. We are seeking a Technical Project Engineer to support our growing customer base.

Position Summary:

This role is a blend oftechnical support, project management, and sales coordination. Here is a summary of the core responsibilities:

  • Sales & CRM Support:You'll act as the right hand to Business Development Engineers by managing quotes and data in the CRM, handling customer requests in their absence, and creating technical presentations.
  • Technical Support & Maintenance:You'll handle the "hands-on" work, including troubleshooting and repairing electronic measuring devices, testing product samples, and managing shipping/packaging for parts.
  • Project Management:Once a customer order is placed, you own the workflow. You'll ensure projects are commercially viable, accurate, and documented properly while keeping communication moving between customers, engineering, and leadership.
  • Compliance & Consulting:You will serve as a guide for new customers, specifically helping them navigate FDA and state radiation regulations.

Detailed Job Description:

Technical Support & Compliance

  • Deliver comprehensive technical project support to Business Development Engineers and external stakeholders.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and precision repair of industrial electronic measurement instrumentation.
  • Advise and consult new clients on FDA and state-level radiation regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct product sample analysis and synthesize findings into high-impact technical presentations.

Project Management & Operations

  • Facilitate end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial viability from PO submission to delivery.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional communication between customers, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to streamline project workflows.
  • Manage logistics for critical components, including the secure packaging and distribution of spare parts and repaired equipment.
  • Collaborate with Service Engineers to resolve complex technical challenges and maintain service excellence.

Client Relations & Administration

  • Maintain CRM integrity by meticulously managing quotes, sales opportunities, and proprietary customer data.
  • Liaise directly with clients to capture technical specifications and ensure orders align with pricing and performance expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring seamless service continuity during BDE absences.

Education:
Associate's or Bachelors degree in a technology field or similar work experience, 1 -3 yrs experience.

Qualifications and expectations include:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
* Strong organizational skills / detailed oriented.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
* Technically inclined.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new software applications is a must.
