Responsibilities
Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing complex, repetitive deburring operations, interpreting blueprints and drawings, setting up and operating all deburring equipment and hand tools, polishing and cleaning parts, inspecting deburred parts and performing complex assembly operations. Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex, repetitive deburring operations by removing excess metal and surface defects from parts. Interpret blueprints and drawings and follow manufacturing processes and procedures. Set up and operate all deburring equipment and hand tools, including die grinders, drill presses, orbital sanders, buffers, knives and bead blasters. Polish, grind and clean parts. Inspect deburred parts to ensure conformance to quality specifications, using gauges, microscopes and other measuring tools as required. Follow procedures as needed to address non-conformities. May perform basic assembly operations. May perform the Power flush operation or use the borescope. May perform work on the clean line. Complete required documentation for all jobs responsible for including entering data into ERP system. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles. Other duties as assigned.
Wage Range for this position - depending upon experience and other factors - $22 - $35 ,
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Can perform the work at the high complexity deburring level or can complete 60% of the deburring projects, with a rating of 2 or higher on the skills matrix. Basic math skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and possess a sense of urgency. Intermediate ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. PC skills in a Windows environment. Experience with close tolerance deburring and polishing. Experience using an ERP system. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
