PAY RANGE: Measurement Tech Analyst I: $54,400 - $68,000
Measurement Tech Analyst II: $66,600 - $83,200
Sr Measurement Tech Analyst: $75,300 - $100,400

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Other hours as required)

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Measurement Technology (MTech) Analyst and Large Power Coordinator with strong analytical and technical expertise supporting Large Power, Generation, and Wholesale metering operations. Responsible for monitoring meter deployment and system health, validating data integrity, and ensuring accurate configuration across enterprise metering and customer platforms. Leads coordination for new metering projects, infrastructure upgrades, and annual meter testing schedules with external utilities, while serving as a subject matter expert and key liaison across operations, supervision, and technical teams.

Provides oversight and issue resolution across Landis+Gyr AMI, Meter Data Management (MDM), Operational Device Management (ODM), and MV-90, with a focus on troubleshooting system, data, and cellular communication problems. Ensures metering parameters and device setups are applied consistently to support reliable data flow and downstream billing accuracy. Performs cross-system analysis to correlate metering and billing data, identify anomalies, and improve bill cycle performance through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Delivers technical and analytical support including reporting, scorecard metrics, and budgeting analysis. Provides PC network, hardware, and software support for field personnel, and contributes to process improvements that strengthen system reliability, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Major Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited to:
* Maintain accurate meter configuration and system health for Large Power, Generation, and Wholesale customers.
* Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, reliability, and data quality.
* Follow data security, change control, and governance requirements.
* Serve as primary contact for daily production issues, coordinating troubleshooting and resolution.
* Configure and maintain multipliers and measurement component attributes across metering systems.
* Support internal partners, including Billing and Load Research, by resolving inquiries and data issues.
* Coordinate metering projects for Large Power, Wholesale, and Demand Response programs.
* Support compliance and accuracy requirements, including SOX controls and documentation.
* Track projects spend, reimbursements, and complete budget analysis as requested by leadership.
* Monitor LLPS and other large key customers daily to identify issues and drive timely correction.

Education and Experience Requirements:
The preferred candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree is highly preferred. Experience working with enterprise computer systems and database applications is required, along with a strong technical background supporting maintenance and reliability-focused applications. Prior experience in the utility industry and/or a technical role supporting reliability and maintenance functions is preferred.

In lieu of formal education, the preferred candidate typically possess:
* Eight years of business analyst experience, or
* Five years of relevant experience supporting Operational Device Management (ODM), Meter Data Management (MDM), Customer Care and Billing/Customer Information Systems (CCB/CIS), MV-90, and Landis+Gyr Command Center systems.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
* Strong understanding of electric meter characteristics, configurations, and their direct impact on billing accuracy and data quality.
* Working knowledge of utility business processes and best practices, with expertise in at least two Evergy business functions.
* Proficiency with enterprise technology applications supporting metering and customer operations, including ODM, MDM, CCB/CIS, WattNet Plus, Itron MV-90, EMS, and AMI.
* Understanding complex, interrelated business functions and the technology platforms that support them, with the ability to assess downstream impacts.
* Ability to identify, recommend, and implement technology and process improvements that enhance efficiency, reliability, and operational performance.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and complete projects on time and within budget.
* Demonstrates sound judgment, accountability, and professionalism in a production environment.
* Ability to lead working groups, resolve issues constructively, and build consensus across internal and external stakeholders.
* Serves as a metering data resource by providing analysis, reporting, and operational support, including support for Demand Response program requirements.

Working Conditions:
Primarily office-based with minimal travel required. Must maintain a satisfactory work record, including regular and reliable attendance.
