As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will oversee quality inspection personnel and ensure that all products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA, DoD).You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, investigating non-conformances, and supporting audit readiness. This is an onsite role in our Grand Prairie, TX. facility. You will report to the Quality Manager. Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily activities of QA Inspectors, technicians, and quality support personnel. Ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, and documentation across production and inspection processes. Monitor product quality through inspections, testing, and audits throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) for internal and external non-conformances. Support internal and external audits (AS9100, customer, FAA, etc.). Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues. Train, mentor, and coach QA team members to promote compliance and continuous improvement. Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and calibration records. Assist in maintaining and improving Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures. Utilize quality metrics and data analysis to drive improvement and report performance trends
Qualifications
US Person Current DoD Clearance or the ability to obtain one. Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering, quality, aerospace, etc.) or equivalent work experience. 3+years of quality assurance experience in an aerospace or similarly regulated industry with 1+ years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace quality standards. Experience with inspection techniques, GD&T, and use of precision measurement tools. Proficiency with quality management systems software Certifications such as ASQ CQI, CQA, or Six Sigma Green Belt desired. Familiarity with regulatory compliance (FAA, DoD, ITAR). Experience with PPAP, FAI (First Article Inspection), and APQP methodologies.
