As a Security Officer - Upscale Entry Gate in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at a premier private club location, where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and help support a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. In this access control role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, members, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize visitor access, and maintain accurate logs of arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or service providers.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Assist with traffic and parking control at the location, help direct visitors to appropriate areas, and support orderly access during busy periods, events, and/or emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
