As a Security Officer Dedicated Patrol Associate in Secaucus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic media and telecom location as an unarmed patrol professional, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including offices, studios, production areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and/or permissions as directed by site policies, and report suspicious, hazardous, and/or maintenance-related conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations at a dynamic media and technology location by observing site activity, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
