The Mail Clerk plays a key role in ensuring timely, accurate delivery of mail and packages to Maritz employees and tenants across the Fenton campus.

This parttime position averages 20-24 hours per week and supports smooth daily operations through dependable service and attention to detail.

What You'll Be Doing

50%- Sorts/delivers incoming mail by department and/or employee to ensure timely distribution. Sorts/delivers interdepartmental mail across the Maritz campus. Picks up departmental mail. Weighs and processes outgoing mail. Includes lifting packages that can weigh up to 50 pounds.

50%- Operates mail machines including the postage meter, copy machine, and mail folding/inserting machine. Maintains record of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information. Stocks supplies needed for the mailroom. Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to walk long distances across the Maritz campus, inside and outside

  • Basic typing and computer skills, experience with MS Office.

  • Ability to drive company delivery van

  • Have a valid Driver's License.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis

  • Excellent customer service skills

Things You Should Know

  • This is a parttime position with a weekly schedule that typically falls within the 20-24 hour range depending on business needs.

  • Opportunity for additional hours for vacation coverage as needed.

  • This position is 100% in office position at our Fenton location.
