We are Givaudan. Human by nature. As the HR Director of Operations, reporting to the HR Regional Head, you will lead an HR team. This team will guide our regional HR agenda, ensuring understanding of our goals. Additionally, the agenda will focus on workforce transformation and digital HR advancements. You will be an strategic HR business partner by implementing HR programs that support talent acquisition, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and workforce planning. Using AI-driven workforce insights and HR digitalization to enhance employee experience, operational efficiency, and compliance with labor laws and governance frameworks. This position will be based at our Cincinnati site, working in a hybrid model (4 days at the office, 1 day remote). Your main responsibilities will include Strategic HR Implementation
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with regional priorities and long-term workforce trends.
- Promote AI-driven HR analytics to support talent management, workforce planning, and employee experience enhancements.
- Ensure seamless integration of global HR policies with regional and local workforce needs.
- Lead HR digital transformation projects, introducing self-service HR tools, automation, and predictive workforce analytics.
- Partner with business leaders, finance, and HR COEs to optimize HR structures.
HR Workforce Development
- Be an strategic advisor to business leadership.
- Build HR partnerships across regional teams, ensuring collaboration.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to modernize hiring and retention strategies.
- Oversee succession planning and leadership development.
- Foster a culture of inclusion and belonging by implementing DEI programs and targeted employee engagement programs.
HR Processes and Governance
- Oversee HR policy development, compliance, and governance.
- Manage regional workforce planning, optimizing headcount, cost management, and HR budget agreement.
- Help implement global performance management frameworks.
- Monitor HR Indicators to improve HR service delivery and business impact.
- Lead the development of the annual salary review process, ensuring competitive compensation, internal equity, and agreement on organizational goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and finance teams to establish salary budgets, determine increase percentages, and ensure compliance with market trends and legal requirements.
- Oversee the communication of salary decisions to employees.
- Ensure compliance with global and local employment regulations, providing guidance on legal and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with compensation and benefits teams to help design competitive and equitable reward programs.
Special Projects and HR Digitalization
- Lead AI-driven workforce optimization projects, predictive attrition models, HR chatbots, and data-driven compensation strategies.
- Explore latest HR innovations, including blockchain for credential verification and AI-driven learning & development platforms.
Budget & HR Operations
- Oversee HR financial planning, ensuring budget efficiency, workforce cost optimization, and strategic HR investment alignment.
- Implement data-driven forecasting models for headcount, salary budgets, and HR operational expenses.
People Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead an HR team, providing them with skills in digital HR, people analytics, and strategic workforce planning.
- Establish a learning culture within HR.
- Foster a culture of people engagement by guiding programs that enhance employee connection and experience across the organization.
- Manage union negotiations and external partnerships.
You? Your professional profile includes
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
- At least 10 years of HR experience, including HR leadership roles at a regional or global level.
- We prefer additional certifications in AI in HR, HR Analytics, Change Management, or HR Digital Transformation.
- Expertise in HR business partnership, workforce planning, employee relations, and HR transformation programs.
- Experience leading teams and optimizing HR operations.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in Union negotiations and industrial relations management.
