Graphic Designer

Job Title: Graphic Designer II
Job Duration: 6 months contract with possibility of extension
Location: Boston, MA 02116

Working Arrangements: 3 days on site Tuesday/Wednesday/ Thursday

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 40 hrs./week (8-4)

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to impact communicating our mission of helping our customers live a longer, healthier, better life.

Typical Day in Role

• Collaborate with and animators and videographers, share work with Creative Director for review
• Interact with the Production team to obtain work assignments and ensure deadlines are being met
• Create new work as well as make updates to existing work

Must Have Skills:

1) Strong experience in corporate branding systems

2) At least 3-4 years related design experience, preferably with emphasis on financial industry marketing print materials

3) MAC proficiency as well as a thorough knowledge of design software (Adobe Creative Suit: In-Design, Illustrator, PhotoShop, MS Suite)

4) Strong and thorough understanding of traditional design skills including sketching, composition, storyboarding

5) Thorough understanding of typography, color palettes, grid systems, and final file preparation for print and/or web

Nice-To-Have Skills:

1) Proficiency in Figma

2) Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects

Soft Skills Required:

• Concise communication
• Effective time management
• Collaboration in team setting

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Design Art, Media or equivalent exp.
