Position Title: Pharmacy Technician
Work Location: Jeffersonville IN 47130 Assignment Duration: 5+ Months Work Schedule: Monday 1pm-11:30pm, Tuesday - Friday 2pm-11pm, Saturday 12pm-8:30pm Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The Organization. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing. * Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders. * Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product. * Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers. * Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area. * Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications. * Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. * Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. * Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information. Qualification & Experience: ? Indiana Pharmacy Technician License Or national pharmacy technician license. ? High School Diploma or equivalent ? Previous pharmacy experience ? Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line. ? Able to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor. ? Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift. ? Basic math, reading and writing skills required. Working Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable): Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line. Able to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.
