Job Title: QC Lab Associate / Microbiology Lab Associate Location: West Greenwich, 02817, RI Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM (10-hour shifts) Duration: 6 Months (Possibility Of extension) Job Overview Under minimal supervision, this role is responsible for microbiology and analytical testing, sample and data management, and operation/maintenance of laboratory equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Perform environmental monitoring, water sampling/testing, and sample collection/handling to support GMP operations Conduct testing and data review as per company methods, SOPs, and site procedures Maintain accurate and complete laboratory documentation using electronic systems and lab notebooks Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments Participate in laboratory investigations, audits, and compliance activities Perform general laboratory housekeeping duties Ensure training compliance and maintain proficiency Follow all safety guidelines, cGMPs/CFRs, and regulatory requirements at all times Day-to-Day Activities Environmental monitoring and sampling Water sampling and testing Sample collection and aliquoting from manufacturing areas Required Skills Basic laboratory knowledge and hands-on lab experience Understanding of GMP/GDP environments Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (Science-related field) OR Associate's Degree + 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED + 6 years of experience Alternative Qualification Option: High School/GED + 2 years experience Associate's Degree + 6 months experience Bachelor's Degree Top 3 Must-Have Skills Previous laboratory experience Team collaboration GMP knowledge Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in microbiology or QC lab environment Interview Process Online interview via Microsoft Teams or phone May include panel/group interview Additional Details Position Type: 100% Onsite (Essential CW role) Reason for Opening: Additional workload support Red Flags (Avoid Candidates With) Frequent job changes in a short time Significant gaps in employment Overqualified candidates (e.g., advanced degrees for entry-level role)
