Job Description:
Responsibilities:
*Designs and develops manufacturing processes for products.
*Such design and development may include new or revised processes.
*Develops procedures in cooperation with quality and production departments.
*Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over applicable variables; and services, troubleshoots and solves production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
*Recommends tools and test equipment.
*May make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials.
*Communicates with internal stakeholders and external customers to manage complex manufacturability issues from identification through resolution.
*An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards, conventional machining, and special processes such as brazing, heat treating, chemical processing and/or painting.

Education: 4yr STEM degree + 4years exp
Exp: Strong knowledge of brazing and heat treating process. Customer facing experience with communicating and problem solving. Aerospace industry preferred; automotive industry is comparable.
