Position SummaryThe
OILS program in the University Libraries & Learning Sciences seeks to hire
Temporary Part-Time Faculty to teach a course in our undergraduate program for
the 2026 Fall semester. The program anticipates a need for a Temporary
Part-time Faculty position for OILS 532
(Online Learning Design).
Qualifications

Minimum
Qualification:

  • Doctoral degree in Instructional
    Design and Technology, Learning Sciences, or related field

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities
  • Experience designing and teaching graduate-level online or
    hybrid courses using LMS and digital learning tools
  • Experience developing multimedia learning materials
    grounded in multimedia learning and visual design principles
  • Experience designing and evaluating eLearning environments
    including interaction, engagement, assessment, and learning communities
  • Experience with rapid instructional design and development
    including storyboarding and prototyping
