About the Role

The Advisor, Customer Solution Design supports the development and delivery of customer-centric solutions throughout the sales lifecycle. This role focuses on coordinating solution design activities, supporting proposal and presentation development, and ensuring alignment with the organization's technical and operational capabilities.


Your Impact

- Customer-Centric Design: Drives technical and operational solution design for each customer opportunity, leveraging SMEs to ensure functional viability.
- Opportunity Status Tracking: Monitors and documents key milestones and activities throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
- Documentation & Communication: Creates clear, compelling solution documentation and collaborate with sales to effectively present to stakeholders.
- Marketing Asset Coordination: Supports creation and management of customer references, case studies, and success stories.
- Customer & Market Intelligence: Captures customer feedback and insights to strengthen thought leadership and customer success programs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Aligns with Sales, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure consistency across customer-facing initiatives.
- Sales Process Enablement: Acts as a trusted advisor during sales cycles, supporting discovery, workshops, and proposals to align solutions with customer expectations.
- Solution & Capabilities Awareness: Maintain working knowledge of Canon's services, solutions, and product offerings.
- Strategic Initiative Support:Works with leadership in support of broader strategic initiatives and goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhances solution design standards and stays informed on emerging technologies and trends.
- Training & Mentorship: Delivers solution training and mentors internal teams in areas of expertise.


About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated rate for this role: $76,150 - $114,040 / year

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience.
- Customer Success experience preferred.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Power BI is a plus.
- Requires up to 25% travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
- Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills, and public speaking skills.

Proven Experience in TCO Modeling and Optimization Strategies:
- Ability to conduct a comprehensive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
- Must be capable of reviewing current workflows and data to design an optimized solution that identifies specific opportunities for cost-savings and project compliance.

Proficiency in Pricing Strategy and Profitability Analysis:
- Demonstrate the ability to develop financial proposals that detail all cost elements while maintaining transparency in calculations. This includes experience managing complex structures and merging customer documents with internal data.

Financial Analysis:
- Responsible for analyzing internal P&L data and financial summaries to present and with the alignment corporate fiscal health.

Workstyle Description

Hybrid - This position offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. Beginning July 2026, our in office days will change to Wednesday and Thursday.
