Overview
The Digital Designer will be responsible for developing engaging and visually impactful creative assets for social media, paid advertising, company websites, and web-based platforms. This role centers on delivering compelling user experiences that support Allspring's brand and business objectives. The designer will collaborate closely with Marketing partners and other internal teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns across digital channels. By partnering with colleagues, this individual will help drive innovative solutions and maintain brand consistency in all digital touchpoints. We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days per week. Location(s): Charlotte, NC or Milwaukee, WI
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Marketing, content creators/writers, developers, art director, fellow designers, and external agencies to translate requirements into effective digital experiences, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to design best practices
- Create visually compelling assets for social media, paid advertising, and company websites/digital platforms, aligning all creative work with business objectives and the brand
- Bring UX/UI thinking and best practices to digital design work and stay current on the evolution and trends in this space
- Conduct discovery and alignment activities (e.g., design/content audits, competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews, and co-creation/journey mapping) to inform design direction and strategy
- Synthesize user needs and business objectives to create UX deliverables (e.g., wireframes, user flows, and prototypes) and validate solutions through testing and stakeholder feedback
- Bring fresh perspectives and challenge the status quo to deliver solutions that help Allspring stand out among competitors
- Use industry-standard design and prototyping tools to efficiently execute concepts, iterate, and deliver production-ready assets
- Contribute to and apply Allspring's design system/component library to maintain visual and interaction consistency and improve delivery speed across channels
- Use HTML/CSS knowledge and browser developer tools to evaluate the current site design, identify effective and problematic patterns, and create a refreshed, scalable style guide that balances existing site implementation with modern best practices and design improvements.
- Partner with developers to provide clear design specifications and assets, support implementation, and perform production QA to ensure high-quality execution
- Iterate and optimize creative and UX based on user feedback, testing (e.g., A/B), and performance insights in partnership with Digital Marketing and Analytics
- Deliver pixel-perfect, dev-ready designs by defining padding, typography, and responsive behavior across desktop and mobile breakpoints, ensuring designs translate from Figma into development with minimal interpretation or rework
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of CX or relevant experience
- Examples of personal portfolio experience
- Service design/design thinking
- UX/interaction design
- UI/visual design
- Clear and current understanding of the existing and future capabilities of the iOS and Android mobile platforms
- Expertise working in Figma, Adobe CS
- Remain in stationary position for prolonged periods of time
- Operate computer programs and software
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats
- Day-to-day contact with others (co-workers and/or public)
- Ability to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions.

- Experience working within company brand standards
- Animation and html skills/knowledge are a plus
- Experience in financial services is a plus
- Client side/in-house experience is a plus

Compensation
Base Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.) #LI-JD1 #LI-Hybrid
