Cape Fox subsidiary, Wolf Lake Services, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Nursing Manager to join our team in support of a federal government client. This role requires high proficiency in nursing and experience in occupational health care, responding to employees' immediate health needs, and initiating and sustaining a wide array of employee health programs. This position is contingent upon award.

The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position ($57.97 per hour for up to 40 hours per week) is comprised of a base hourly rate of $52.88 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations.

The above rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including specified holidays, paid leave, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. Core Duties:



  • Provide comprehensive ambulatory nursing services to enhance patients' overall wellness and address workplace health-related needs, including acute conditions and chronic illnesses
  • Respond to the immediate health needs of employees by collaborating with the Department's Medical Officer, colleagues, and Security personnel
  • Deliver a wide range of health care, administrative, and operational services to employees, leadership, and Building occupants, utilizing current nursing principles to ensure high-quality patient care, including conducting thorough patient histories and screenings and managing treatment of injuries, illnesses, and wellness programs (e.g., immunizations and health counseling)
  • Collaborate with branch team members on operational assignments, tasks, and various safety, health, and wellness activities and events
  • Provide acute care during medical emergencies, delivering critical interventions to prevent loss of life or limb and alleviate suffering until safe transport to a medical facility can be arranged
  • Oversee the annual flu vaccine campaign, leading efforts to order vaccine supplies and coordinate promotional messaging for the clinic
  • Manage and dispense medications in accordance with a pre-approved formulary, ensuring compliance with established guidelines, including inventorying and replenishing supplies and medications on a cyclic schedule, as needed
  • Facilitate and track referrals, transfers, and consultations for patient health issues that exceed the scope of practice or require expert intervention
  • Maintain and protect confidential employee health records per Departmental guidelines, including preparing performance metrics related to visits, injuries, immunizations, and accommodations
  • Oversee the Center's operations, conducting physical inspections to ensure all equipment and systems are functional and managing the administrative functions for effective service delivery
  • Promote compliance with regulatory and contractual standards, ensuring customer service expectations are met in all clinical care aspects
  • Contribute to the quality assurance program by planning for periodic external compliance audits of the Center
  • Manage the lactation facilities and scheduling and collaborate with the Medical Officer for review requests for disabled parking permits specific to this location
  • Manage and coordinate the building-wide Automated External Defibrillator (AED) program which includes conducting monthly inspections and replacing key components for 31 AED units.
  • Organize regular AED/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training for employees, conducting monthly inspections, and replacing key components as needed
  • Provide critical nursing support for high-level secretarial events, such as the annual July 4th celebration, ensuring the health and safety of all attendees
  • Educate employees on various health-related topics, including wellness initiatives and medical education programs. Promote health and wellness through lectures, speaking engagements, seminars, health/safety fairs (health screenings, blood drives, wellness classes, and other bureaus and offices' safety, health, and wellness outreach initiatives
  • Empower employees with strategies to maintain or enhance their health status. Offer counseling to individuals, focusing on health prevention and maintenance practices such as nutrition and exercise
