Position Overview

Program Coordinator is an entry-level position that oversees program planning for the Conrad Leadership Program with the intent of coordinating virtual and in-person workshops and events tailored towards professional and personal development. This includes contacting sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders as well as assisting with budget and expenses.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and/or three years of experience in programming or event planning.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



  • Demonstrated knowledge of program planning best practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of program evaluation
  • Considerable knowledge of event and workshop planning strategies
  • Current knowledge of sponsorship and fundraising best practices
  • Strong presentation, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to collect and analyze program data to establish annual goals and objectives
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of populations verbally and in writing
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to work independently


Job Duties



  • Participates in off-campus and on-campus events supporting the Conrad Leadership Program.
  • Develops a vision, plans, and budget for implement successful program workshops and events.
  • Collect, maintain, and utilize assessment data to evaluate and enhance program planning.
  • Recruits, hires, trains, and evaluates the work of workshop facilitators and speakers.
  • Collaborate with UNT Dallas and program counterparts to ensure effective program implementation.


Physical Requirements



  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
  • Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces.
  • Lifting and Moving objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.


Environmental Hazards



  • Noisy environments.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.


Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, some Saturdays. 9-1pm or 1-5pm
