Summary of role

The Manager, Procurement Systems & Governance is responsible for the day-to-day management, optimization, and governance of Lantheus' procurement systems and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes. This role ensures procurement technology, data, and workflows operate efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with internal controls and business needs.

As Lantheus continues to modernize its systems, including SAP S/4HANA, Ariba procurement tools, and the implementation of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution, this role plays a key hands-on role in supporting system adoption, process standardization, and operational excellence across Procurement.

The ideal candidate is a systems-oriented procurement professional who works effectively across functions, focuses on execution and continuous improvement, and ensures governance and controls are consistently applied.

This position is based in Massachusetts and requires a presence on-site (two/three) days per week, and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Systems Management

* Serve as the primary Procurement contact for SAP S/4HANA procurement modules and Ariba Source-to-Pay solutions.

* Support system enhancements, configuration updates, testing, and issue resolution in partnership with IT, Finance, Accounts Payable, Legal, Quality, and Procurement stakeholders.

* Document and maintain standard operating procedures, user guidance, and system best practices to support consistent usage and strong adoption.

* Identify system improvement opportunities and support upgrades and enhancements aligned with business needs.

Source-to-Pay Process Governance

* Manage and maintain governance for requisitioning, purchasing, approvals, supplier setup, contracting, and invoice-related procurement processes.

* Ensure processes support effective internal controls, compliance requirements, and efficient end-to-end execution.

* Partner with business stakeholders to streamline workflows, resolve process gaps, and promote consistent system usage across teams.

Contracting Systems and Integration

* Support Procurement's involvement in the implementation and ongoing use of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.

* Assist with system integrations between CLM, procurement platforms, and financial systems.

* Help define standardized contracting processes, required metadata, and governance practices that support consistent execution across the organization.

Governance, Controls, and Audit Support

* Maintain SOX-compliant procurement controls across systems and processes.

* Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, participating in walkthroughs, and addressing findings related to procurement systems and controls.

* Ensure policies, procedures, and system configurations remain aligned and audit-ready.

Reporting, Analytics, and Business Support

* Support Procurement and Category Management reporting needs, including spend visibility, savings tracking, cycle-time metrics, and supplier performance insights.

* Maintain standard reports and dashboards that enable informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

* Use data and analytics to help identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

People Leadership and Team Development

* Manage and develop a small Procurement Systems and Governance team or functional area, providing day-to-day direction, coaching, and performance feedback.

* Foster a collaborative, hands-on working style focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional partnership.

* Build scalable documentation, training materials, and processes to support system evolution and business growth.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certifications in supply chain, information systems, or process excellence preferred.

* Six or more years of experience in procurement systems, Source-to-Pay processes, or procurement operations.

* Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA procurement modules and Ariba procurement solutions.

* Working knowledge of procurement governance, internal controls, and SOX compliance requirements.

* Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across IT, Finance, Legal, Accounts Payable, Quality, and Procurement teams.

* Prior experience managing or leading work through others preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience supporting or implementing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.

* Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medtech, or other regulated industries.

* Strong analytical skills with experience supporting procurement reporting and dashboards.

The pay range for this position is between $111,000-$185,000 annually.

Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Employees in this position are eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash incentive, and depending on the level of the role may be eligible for a discretionary annual equity award. Benefits for this position include a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. Other offerings include life and disability benefits, pre-tax accounts, a 401(k) with company contribution, and a variety of other benefits.
