Job Description We are looking for a Security Installer to join our installation team. The Installer will install lowvoltage security and network systems, including access control, cameras, cabling, and related hardware. This role requires technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities -Install, service, and maintain: Access control devices and electrified door hardware -Surveillance cameras -Cable pathway systems and low-voltage cabling (component, category, fiber) -Wireless access points and other security/network devices -Maintain company tools and equipment -Follow all safety standards and best practices -Collaborate with service team members and support additional duties as needed -Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the security industry Qualifications -Someone who takes pride in what they do and wants to learn and grow their career -1+ year of experience needed in security installation (access control, CCTV, door strikes) -Must have experience using hand and power tools -Comfortable working on ladders and lifts -High school diploma or equivalent -Valid driver's license -Willing to submit to compliance testing (drug test, background check, MVR check) Skills & Abilities -Proficiency using installation tools (measuring tape, level, etc.) -Strong communication skills (written and verbal) -Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks -Ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekends, overnights as needed) -Comfortable working at heights (ladders, man-lifts) -Professional appearance and conduct -Desire to learn and grow in the security systems industry Top Skills Low voltage, Coachable, Punctual, Access control, Cabling, CCTV, Install, Security, Termination testing, Alarm systems, Troubleshooting, Construction, Installation, Alarms, Low voltage installation, Alarm installation, S2, LENEL, Security installation, Structured cabling, Cable Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
