At the regional level, lead the demand planning operations and processes in Flavours Division to develop, update and maintain the demand forecasts through analysis, communication, and shared responsibility with commercial leaders, supporting the effectiveness of the organisation's supply chain and customer service. You will report to the Head of Supply Chain NOAM. Salary Range Based on Experience $110,000 - $150,000. Main responsibilities Strategy Design and Execution * Provide key demand planning inputs to the Regional Operations business plans and participate in the design of the regional Supply Chain strategy, as well as the definition of related objectives based on input provided by other regional functions, e.g., Commercial or Business Development. * Contributes to the design and execution of tactical and operational plans to meet regional Operations objectives. Function Management * Manage and develop the regional demand planning process and demand planning review as the key and first phase of the regular S&OP cycle. * Manage the demand planning processes at (sub)- regional and customer level to develop and update demand forecasts to achieve and improve KPI's (Forecast Accuracy). * Identify and implement opportunities for forecast improvement. * Communicate with Operations and Commercial departments (with internal and external customers). * Work under the standards of quality, safety and industrial hygiene and good practices. * Implements Demand Planning Strategy aligned with Sales and Ops Roadmap. * Prepare and guarantee a good demand plan to have an efficient supply chain cycle (SOP/MRP process) with focus on new businesses and business changes. * Manage SCM Tools KPI Deck and Dashboard to keep the quality of information/reports. * Drive synergies and alignment, and sharing of best practices between locations. * Oversee the process of correct parameterization of the system (DP toolkit) to provide accurate information for optimal planning. * Monitor Business Evolution (Losses, Wins). * Manage early warning process, including material/capacity availability (collaborate with Supply Planning). * Construct statistical analysis/statistical modelling to improve forecast accuracy. * Primary interface between the supply chain and the commercial organization, along with customer care. * Conduct routine demand review meetings with both the commercial organization and customers. People Management * Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes within the regional Demand Planning teams and validate related results. * Work with the Operations management team and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a regional talent pipeline for the sub-function. * Drive the development and promotion of Supply Chain & Planning talents within and outside Operations at the regional level. Academic Background * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, and other fields. * Master's Degree is preferred * Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and forecasting is required. * 5 years of experience in people management Technical Skills * Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools (SAP, BI/BO, etc.) * ERP/MRP Expertise * Language skills English - Fluent * Desired APICS Certification * Aptitude for working in a multicultural environment * Expert in Forecasting (Statistical Models) * Microsoft Office expertise #LI-hybrid Givaudan takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, qualifications/certifications and education, and internal equity.
