Global Category Manager Location: Bedford, MA (Hybrid) Pay: $45-$51/hour We are seeking a results-driven Global Category Manager to lead strategic procurement initiatives across IT, R&D, and Digital categories. This role is responsible for delivering cost savings, managing supplier relationships, and driving sourcing excellence in a global environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute global category strategies aligned with business objectives Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including market analysis, RFP/RFQ, negotiations, and contracting Identify cost savings, cost avoidance, and value improvement opportunities Manage contract renewals and ensure competitive, right-sized agreements Build financial models and analyze pricing to support sourcing decisions Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across IT, Engineering, and Finance Lead supplier negotiations and manage performance through governance and QBRs Partner with Legal to review contracts and mitigate risk Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements Drive continuous improvement and standardization of sourcing processes Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred 5+ years of indirect procurement/sourcing experience (IT/Digital strongly preferred) Proven experience managing multiple sourcing projects and categories Strong financial analysis, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Experience partnering with Legal and Finance on contracts and approvals ISM certification or equivalent preferred Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD & D Insurance This role is ideal for candidates with indirect sourcing expertise who can drive strategic value, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced, global environment.
