Are you a passionate and skilled automation engineer ready to make a significant impact on cutting-edge mobile applications? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our client's team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for their mobile platforms. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test solutions for critical iOS and Android applications. Your expertise will directly enhance the quality and reliability of mobile experiences for countless users, driving confidence and satisfaction in every interaction. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, shaping testing strategies and ensuring our mobile offerings consistently meet the highest standards of excellence.

**What You'll Do:**

* Engage with the full mobile application development lifecycle for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring quality at every stage.

* Develop and maintain functional test automation scripts for mobile applications using Appium with Java.

* Ensure automation suites are constantly running, analyze results, promptly report metrics, and efficiently raise failures.

* Create detailed, actionable reports complete with screenshots and videos to clearly document failures.

* Analyze mobile application requirements to design and execute comprehensive automation test scripts.

* Leverage your expertise in configuring iOS simulators and Android emulators, as well as conducting cloud-based and/or real-device testing.

* Collaborate effectively within Agile teams, partnering with developers, product owners, and scrum masters to plan, schedule, and achieve test automation goals.

**What You Bring:**

* 3+ years of experience working within mobile application development environments, with a dedicated focus on quality assurance and testing.

* 4+ years of experience in developing and executing automated test scripts and maintaining robust test automation frameworks.

* Expertise in full-cycle mobile app testing, including UI, functional, compatibility, usability, and accessibility testing.

* Hands-on coding experience with the Appium framework using Java for developing end-to-end mobile app automation tests.

* Proficiency in developing and executing UI tests on XCUITest (iOS) and Espresso (Android).

* Skill in utilizing platforms like Sauce Labs or Perfecto for cloud-based device testing.

* Familiarity with iOS and Android mobile operating systems, authentication methodologies, app settings, device configurations, and debugging network requests.

* Exposure to performance testing, including monitoring memory usage, battery drain, and CPU usage during UI tests.

* Working knowledge of industry-standard tools such as JIRA, MTM, Zephyr, or HPQ for logging bugs and managing test cases.

* Experience with maintaining scripts and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub.

* Strong knowledge of proper test case design, test automation best practices, and Lean DevOps methodologies for execution and reporting.

**Nice to Have:**

* Familiarity with SWIFT/Kotlin programming languages for iOS/Android mobile app development.

* Understanding of working with RESTful APIs.

* Exposure to using AI-assisted tooling like CoPilot to maximize productivity and drive efficient automation workflows.

* Experience within the financial or trading services industry.
