The UVA Brain Institute is seeking candidates for a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) 1, non-Licensed, to join our growing team. The Clinical Research roles are ideal for individuals with some clinical research experience or those looking to begin a rewarding career in clinical research.In this position, you will work with an experienced CRC and/or Principal Investigator on a variety of research projects across multiple neuroscience-related disciplines. Our research team conducts a variety of investigator-initiated studies and also supports federally funded and industry clinical research. Nearly all studies require the collection, processing, and shipment of biospecimens. Job Responsibilities Include:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent combination of experience, education and or certifications. Experience: None. Some experience in a healthcare setting and/or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The anticipated hiring range is $25-27/hour ($52,000-56,160 annual salary), commensurate with education and experience. This is a non-exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits. This is a restricted position, which is dependent on funding and is contingent upon funding availability. This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and must be performed fully on-site.
