What you'll be doing...

Manage the need for and development of training programs related to Environment Health and Safety (EHS). This position will focus on identifying, partnering, reporting, and executing safety and environmental education initiatives. You will work collaboratively with multiple departments, including Human Resources (HR), Learning & Careers (L&C), Sourcing, and other stakeholders to drive the success of our safety and environmental programs, ensuring training alignment with current practices and safety or environmental standards or regulations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the execution and management of global safety and environmental compliance and education programs designed to maintain compliance and improve employee skills, productivity, and performance across the organization.

  • Partner with EHS leads to assist with employee identification and enrollments in education programs.

  • Collaborate with L&C teams to ensure seamless training program development that meets EHS needs.

  • Work closely with L&C to align training content with overall EHS organizational priorities

  • Assist HR Business Partners with employee position requirements for accurate enrollments in EHS and education programs

  • Review and evaluate existing EHS and training programs to ensure they are aligned with EHS standards and the latest industry best practices.

  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather insights and input on training content and courses before launch, ensuring alignment with EHS documentation.

  • Organize subject matter experts and delegate training content creation, ensuring all learning materials are aligned with safety or environmental needs and organizational standards.

  • Use QLIK and Enablon to generate reports on training progress, engagement, and outcomes.

  • Monitor the impact of safety and environmental programs and provide actionable insights and improvement recommendations.

  • Lead the creation and execution of the Safety Action Plan quarterly learning, ensuring that all safety-related initiatives are tracked and achieved according to predefined objectives.

  • Update and maintain internal EHS and education documents to reflect changes in programs, policies, and best practices.

  • Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to identify and accurately categorize employees for the appropriate training audiences.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Practical and applicable experience with adult learning principles and approaches to EHS training.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience with creating and leading complex projects.

  • Strong written skills.

  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated interaction with senior leadership in highly visible, high-priority projects.

Where you'll be workingIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $78,000.00 - $150,000.00. The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $86,000.00 - $150,000.00. The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $78,000.00 - $150,000.00.
