Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician II role assists the physician/advanced practice practitioner directly with technical aspects of endoscopy procedures (biopsies, wire manipulation, polyp removals, etc.).

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: N/A
  2. License/Certifications: SGNA Associates Module Certificate of completion and passing score required.
  3. Experience: One year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician level 1 required. Competent in ERCP, which includes using highly specialized scopes, imaging equipment, wires, balloons, etc. required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of an Endoscopy Technician I role.
