| Position Summary |
- Develop and manage a portfolio of Terry College major gift prospects, with focus on $50,000+ solicitations. Key metrics included # major gift ($50k+) asks, revenue secured, # major gifts ($50k+) closed, # meetings, # cross-campus collaborations, and # discovery meetings, all with the goal to advance prospects through the donor cycle.
- Complete all necessary preparation and follow-up for each visit.
- Document visits with a written contact report in "GAIL" alumni/donor database within a week of the visit.
- Prepare timely, strategic, and compelling proposals to secure major ($50K+) and principal ($1M+) gifts in support of Terry's strategic plan and priorities.
- Direct strategy for at least one of Terry College's fundraising priorities.
- Demonstrate strategies that move prospective donors through the development cycle of identification, information, involvement, and investment of 18-24 months and close a target number of 10+ major gifts annually (this number to increase each year).
- Collaborate with Terry College and UGA colleagues to match donor interest with philanthropic priorities at UGA.
- This position serves on the Philanthropy Team, which includes principal gifts, major gifts, and donor relations. Additional support is provided by a Terry College prospect management professional.
