Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support enterpriselevel initiatives within the Project Management Office (PMO). This role will be responsible for implementing and enforcing project governance, including the design and execution of policies, processes, procedures, and standards that ensure successful management and control of projects, programs, and portfolios.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading large, complex, crossfunctional projects from initiation through delivery, particularly within enterprise environments involving Workday and Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain PMO governance frameworks, including policies, standards, processes, and roles/responsibilities
• Lead multiple large-scale enterprise projects simultaneously
• Manage full project lifecycle activities (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closure)
• Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams and meetings
• Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and budgets
• Provide clear, concise executive-level reporting on project status, risks, and outcomes
• Ensure projects align with organizational priorities and delivery timelines
• Apply industry-standard project management methodologies and tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years of Project Management experience, including leading large projects from start to finish
• Proven experience managing large cross-functional teams
• Hands-on experience managing multiple major initiatives simultaneously
• Experience with enterprise-level projects involving Workday
• Experience with projects integrating Salesforce
• Strong understanding of project governance, methodologies, tools, and reporting
• Expertise in Project Management tools and process implementations
• Demonstrated experience working directly with executive and senior leadership
• Strong facilitation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMO or enterprise transformation background
• Prior experience in large corporate or enterprise IT environments
• Ability to work onsite 2 days per week in Oakbrook Terrace (preferred)
• PMP, SAFe or Scrum certifications
