Essential Functions Pay Rate: $28.50 per hour. (Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am) Analyze and repair plumbing malfunctions. Work from blueprints/schematics to perform maintenance/repair or install equipment. Report (in writing) materials and replacements parts needed for jobs. Direct/instruct subordinate employees still requiring training (e.g., plumbers, Classes B and C). Prepare layout of plumbing systems. Determine proper size/specifications of pipes, valves, manifolds, etc., and perform plumbing maintenance on miscellaneous items such as drain systems, devices, pumps, manifolds, backflows, etc. Inspect mixing vales, backflow filters, and manifolds and make preventative and/or running repairs/corrections as required. Install, connect, adjust, and calibrate (i.e., temperature, flow, pressure, etc.) plumbing gauges, meters, etc. General cleaning and/or assisting other crews if required. Maintaining safety, housekeeping, and sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties. Qualifications Must have a minimum of 4 years of training on the job and/or formal schooling. Must be able to pass a Plumber level A test. Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and complete work in a timely and effcient manner. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to work from a ladder. Must have and maintain a California driver's license and an acceptable DMV record. Foster Farms ACTION Guiding Principles Accountability: Deliver on commitments.
