Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges? You've come to the right place. YOUR IMPACT
Contract AI is McKinsey's enterprise Generative AI platform for automated contract compliance. Deployed into client Azure environments, it processes millions of invoice line items against contracted pricing terms to surface recoverable leakage for global procurement organizations.
The platform is expanding rapidly: four concurrent programs confirmed in 2026 and a pipeline of Proof-of-Value engagements converting to at-scale deployments. As Manager of Software Delivery you will lead the client-facing delivery squad that executes these engagements end-to-end.
As Manager of Software Delivery, you will own the end-to-end delivery of Contract AI Proof-of-Value and Build-Operate-Transfer engagements at client sites. You will lead a small delivery team - engineers and delivery specialists - through fast-paced eight-week Proof-of-Value cycles and multi-month at-scale deployments. You are the primary point of accountability to the client: you run the delivery, manage the timeline, resolve blockers, and ensure the team ships a working, production-quality system on schedule. You will also own end-to-end execution of Contract AI engagements from kickoff through handoff - including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, stakeholder demos, and operational committee meetings. Manage scope, timeline, risks, and escalations across concurrent engagements.
You will: lead and coordinate a team of Software Delivery Specialists and client-embedded engineers; assign work, track progress, resolve cross-team dependencies, and ensure the team is unblocked and performing; be the client's primary technical contact; build trusted relationships with client procurement and technology leadership; communicate delivery status, surface risks proactively, and adapt plans when business requirements evolve; configure and deploy the platform; work hands-on with the Contract AI platform to configure extractors, define compliance cases, integrate with client ERP and procurement systems (SAP, Ariba), and validate accuracy of findings before each release; drive value realization.
Lastly, you will: own the value capture tracking process - from leakage identification through client-validated recovery actions; ensure clients realize measurable return on investment within the engagement timeline; design and deliver structured training programs; facilitate office-hours support; execute the Build-Operate-Transfer handoff plan so the client team can operate the platform independently after the engagement; contribute to platform reuse; feed delivery learnings back into the product team - new compliance case patterns, extractor configurations, and integration templates that reduce setup time for future engagements.
YOUR GROWTH

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • 8+ years of experience in software delivery, technical project management, or engineering management - with a track record of shipping production software on time in a client-facing context.
  • Strong technical foundation: ability to understand and reason about the Contract AI tech stack (Python, C#/.NET, Azure, Generative AI pipelines) - you do not need to write production code daily, but you must be able to triage issues, assess technical risk, and have credible technical conversations with senior engineers and client architects
  • Experience leading agile delivery teams: sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retros), backlog management, velocity tracking, and dependency resolution
  • Prior experience deploying enterprise AI or analytics platforms in a Build-Operate-Transfer or managed-service delivery model is preferred
  • Procurement, supply chain, or contract management domain knowledge is preferred
  • Experience with change management and training delivery for enterprise software adoption and familiarity with value capture tracking methodologies and ROI reporting is preferred
  • Understanding of Generative AI and agentic systems sufficient to configure, test, and validate AI-powered extraction and compliance workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships in a consulting or managed-service context: stakeholder communication, expectation management, escalation handling
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud environments: ability to read and reason about cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps), and monitoring dashboards
  • Experience with enterprise system integrations: SAP, Ariba, ERP data feeds, or similar procurement and accounts-payable platforms is a strong plus
  • Willingness to travel 40-60% of the time to client sites in the United States and internationally
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English; ability to present delivery status and technical findings to non-technical client executives
