Job Summary
The Director of International Partnerships and Exchange Programs provides leadership, management, and strategic development of all international initiatives for the Jindal School of Management (JSOM), including both academic and industrybased programs. This position is responsible for the oversight, maintenance, and continued growth of study abroad opportunities, facultyled international experiences, and global partnership agreements.
The Director is expected to develop new international partnerships and identify international internship opportunities that support experiential learning for JSOM students. This role serves both undergraduate and graduate degree programs within the Jindal School of Management.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing global programs and will demonstrate proven leadership ability, strong written and verbal communication skills, and prior supervisory experience.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related progressive experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

  • Knowledge of universityspecific computer application programs
  • Knowledge of university and departmental principles and procedures related to risk assessment, including evaluating risk likelihood and potential consequences
  • Knowledge of general university processes and procedures, including rules and regulations

Other Qualifications
To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.

Program Oversight and Development

  • Provide oversight for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of:

    • Study abroad and exchange programs
    • Facultyled international experiences
    • International internship opportunities



  • Ensure all programs are accessible, highquality, and aligned with defined academic and career outcomes
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate global learning into curriculum and cocurricular experiences
  • Develop new program models and expand student participation in global engagement opportunities
  • Establish metrics to assess program effectiveness, student learning outcomes, and partnership success
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support informed decisionmaking and strategic planning
  • Prepare reports and presentations for school and university leadership highlighting program impact and performance


Operations, Compliance, and Risk Management

  • Ensure international programs comply with university policies, accreditation standards, and applicable laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement risk management protocols related to international travel and global programming
  • Oversee program logistics, including timelines, documentation, and coordination with campus partners
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and data tracking for all international programs and partnerships
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote awareness of and participation in global opportunities


Budget Management

  • Develop, manage, and oversee budgets for international programs and partnership initiatives
  • Identify funding opportunities, including grants and external partnerships, to support program sustainability and growth


Supervision and Leadership

  • Supervise and lead professional staff supporting international programs and partnerships
  • Establish team goals, priorities, and performance expectations
  • Support staff development through mentoring, training, and professional growth opportunities
  • Ensure effective daytoday operations of the office


Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with faculty, academic departments, and administrative units to advance global initiatives
  • Collaborate with admissions, advising, career services, and student success teams to promote participation in international programs
  • Serve as a liaison between the School of Management and central university offices related to global engagement
  • Support faculty in the development and delivery of international programs and partnerships
