Finance Manager - JLL

Location: Westmont, IL (Hybrid)

What this job involves:

Join our dynamic Work Dynamics team as a Finance Manager, where you'll serve as the financial backbone for multiple Facilities Management client accounts across our collaborative Westmont and Pittsburgh hub operations. In this pivotal role, you'll partner directly with Account Directors and client leadership teams to drive financial strategy, ensure reporting accuracy, and identify opportunities that enhance both profitability and service delivery. You'll oversee the complete financial lifecycle-from strategic planning and budgeting to billing, closing, and quarterly business reviews-while leading a dedicated finance team. This position offers the unique opportunity to blend strategic financial leadership with hands-on client partnership, making a direct impact on JLL's operational excellence and client satisfaction. As a key member of account leadership teams, you'll shape financial decisions that drive business growth while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Oversee client billing processes to ensure accurate fee calculation, timely invoicing, and proper revenue recognition across multiple Facilities Management accounts
  • Lead period-end closing activities by coordinating with JLL accounting staff to deliver accurate, client-facing financial reports that maintain data integrity
  • Partner strategically with Account Directors and leadership teams to analyze financial performance, identify profitability improvement opportunities, and enhance service delivery
  • Manage annual client budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, providing financial insights that guide strategic decision-making
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews as a core member of account leadership teams, presenting financial performance and recommendations to clients
  • Supervise and develop assigned Finance team staff, managing workload distribution and performance to ensure team effectiveness
  • Monitor compliance with client Master Services Agreements (MSAs), GAAP standards, and JLL accounting policies while identifying and implementing process improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • 5-7 years of relevant financial management experience, preferably in a multi-client or facilities management environment
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships with senior leadership and serve as a trusted financial advisor
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for financial modeling and reporting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to internal teams and external clients
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional client service with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Must be located within commuting distance of Westmont, IL JLL offices for hybrid work arrangement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Management or supervisory experience leading finance or accounting teams
  • MBA and/or CPA certification demonstrating advanced financial expertise
  • Experience working with enterprise-class general ledger systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Yardi)
  • Background in commercial real estate, facilities management, or corporate services industries
  • Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Experience managing multiple client relationships simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in diverse, collaborative, team-oriented professional settings

Estimated compensation for this position:

121,000.00 - 132,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
