What you will experience in this position: In this role, your ideas, leadership, and problem-solving skills build meaningful change every day. You'll lead and support crossfunctional teams while helping keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a handson leadership role where you'll partner closely with production, engineering, and maintenance to improve processes, support growth, and solve realworld challenges. Your responsibilities include:
Identifying and implementing innovative manufacturing solutions, coordinating project management for multiple concurrent projects, and driving the team to provide concepts, value justification, and budgets for proposed automation. Developing and maintaining a continuously improving complete maintenance program that optimizes safety performance, asset utilization, cost-effectiveness, and quality, while meeting or exceeding business key results. Providing direction and mentorship to your direct reports, evaluating their performance, and assisting in their career development. Leading equipment evaluations and ensuring measurement criteria meet all site requirements, including ergonomics, environmental impact, and capacity improvement. Devising novel ways to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency using Lean Manufacturing/Ergonomic Manufacturing techniques. Partnering with campus leaders, site leadership, functional teams, and value stream teams to complete transformation plans and cost reduction initiatives. Implementing and optimizing predictive and preventive maintenance strategies for a premier reliability program. Driving reliability metrics in the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program to achieve significant improvements, such as Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
YOU HAVE:
B.S. in engineering field or equivalent experience with evidence of outstanding ability. 10+years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in fabrication, welding, brazing, CNC, custom automation or press environment with 3+ years in a supervisory or management role. Expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and structured problem solving (e.g., 8D, A3) preferred. Experience working in continuous improvement environment Data analytic mindset with ability to make data driven decisions A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technology trends
