Nationality Requirements Due to the nature of the programs we support, certain roles may require candidates to meet U.S. nationality requirements and be eligible to obtain a security clearance. Position Summary Leads a small to medium sized team of acoustic engineers and technicians assigning work, defining responsibilities, monitoring team performance and aligning activities to fulfill business objectives, primarily focused on the short term needs of the business. Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.Job Description Applies a breadth and depth of acoustic engineering skills to develop engineering solutions to complex problems within time, cost, and quality constraints. Develops innovative solutions to acoustic engineering problems considering multiple aspects and alternatives. Influences more senior management in the development of staffing plans and projections and influences the budgets and policies which impact the business. Provides value-added perspectives and advisory services that are important to decision-making. Remains current on trends and emerging technologies and tools. Fosters a safe working culture and ensures a safe working environment for staff. Typically, a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and 9+ years experience within a relevant complex engineering environment and 1+ years leadership experience.May be required to maintain security clearance.
