How can you make an impact?
McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational resources, is looking for a Product Manager for our School division. As the Product Manager, you will partner with the Director of Custom Solutions in managing the development of customized K-12 Math, Science, and Social Studies products for various states and school districts. By bringing your organizational strength, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple projects, you'll help deliver innovative, high-quality educational products that meet the unique needs of K-12 students and educators. Your experience in creating customized print and digital solutions-and background in education, editorial, or curriculum development-will shape learning experiences that empower teachers and inspire student success across classrooms nationwide.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Contribute to and help shape the strategic product vision for state and district customizations.
  • Define, prioritize, and manage product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Serve as the central communicator and project lead across assigned initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product leadership to support go-to-market strategies and drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor product performance, market trends, and the competitive landscape to inform strategy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external subject matter experts and suppliers to enhance product value.
  • Manage budgets and optimize processes to improve operational efficiency and maximize ROI.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in product management, educational technology, or K-12 curriculum.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and managing educational products.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

The pay range for this position is between $82,150 - $85,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
