Astrion has an exciting opportunity fora Senior Acquisition Logistician supporting the SDB II program located at Eglin AFB.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Must have an active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
• BS degree and 10 yrs experience; OR MS degree and 7yrs experience. (Degree program and experience must be relevant.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Experience with GP weapons and Small Diameter Bomb a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase of the acquisition lifecycle.
• Will work independently and as part of a collaborative projectteam andapply knowledge of DoD integrated product support element structure.
• Advise and assistwith Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA) and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) processes.
• Support the development of and perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designatedprogram.
• Support the identification of requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time andplace.
• Coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement ontime;
• Integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics managementprogram.
• Provide expert logistics input on Request for Proposals (RFPs), SOWs, PWSsand CDRLs.
• Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics(including but not limited tosupply, reliability, maintainability,andreliability) and provide them to key logistics reviews.
