Job Description: Sourcing Specialist P3

Position Overview

JLL is seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our procurement team. This role will focus on strategic vendor management, supplier relationship development, negotiation excellence, and RFP leadership for Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) dedicated to a global Life Sciences/Biopharma/Manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will drive value through strategic sourcing initiatives while ensuring vendor compliance and optimal performance across our global supplier network.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management & Relationship Development

Lead end-to-end vendor relationship management for assigned categories, serving as the primary liaison between JLL and key suppliers. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with strategic vendors to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and value creation. Monitor vendor performance through established KPIs and scorecards, conducting regular business reviews to ensure service level agreements are met and exceeded. Proactively identify and mitigate vendor-related risks while managing escalations and implementing corrective action plans when necessary.

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

Develop and execute category-specific sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational priorities. Conduct comprehensive spend analysis and market research to identify consolidation opportunities, cost savings, and process improvements. Lead make-versus-buy assessments and total cost of ownership evaluations to inform strategic sourcing decisions. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, and risk.

Negotiation & Contract Management

Lead complex negotiations with vendors to secure favorable commercial terms, pricing structures, and contractual agreements. Develop negotiation strategies based on market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and total cost analysis. Structure and negotiate master service agreements, statements of work, and amendments that protect JLL's interests while fostering collaborative supplier relationships. Ensure contract compliance and work closely with legal and finance teams to resolve contractual issues.

RFP & RFI Management

Design and execute comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) processes for complex sourcing initiatives. Develop detailed specifications, evaluation criteria, and scoring methodologies that align with business requirements. Manage the full RFP lifecycle including vendor outreach, bidder conferences, proposal evaluation, and supplier selection. Facilitate cross-functional evaluation teams and present recommendations to senior leadership with clear rationale and supporting analysis.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

Partner with internal clients across business units to understand requirements, provide strategic guidance, and deliver sourcing solutions. Build strong relationships with finance, legal, operations, and regional teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution. Communicate sourcing strategies, vendor performance insights, and cost savings achievements to stakeholders at all organizational levels. Serve as a trusted advisor on procurement best practices and category expertise.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Drive continuous improvement of sourcing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with JLL procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate records in procurement systems and generate reports on sourcing activities, savings, and vendor performance.
  • Identify and implement procurement technology solutions that streamline workflows and improve data visibility.
  • Support the transition of Corrigo
  • Bilingual- English/Spanish fluency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent Sourcing experience.
  • Supply Chain Management of Real Estate or similar, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive procurement or sourcing experience with demonstrated expertise in vendor management and strategic negotiations.
  • Proven track record of leading complex RFP processes and delivering measurable cost savings and value creation.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management principles. Must be familiar with legal aspects of contracting including reading and interpreting contracts and related documentation, ability to prepare amendments, and ability to explain to stakeholders the specifics of the contracts
  • Self-motivated and work independently to find solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, or professional services industries.
  • Advanced proficiency in procurement systems, e-sourcing tools, and spend analysis platforms.
  • Experience managing global or multi-regional vendor relationships.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills with ability to achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in financial modeling and total cost analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Strategic thinking with ability to balance short-term needs with long-term value creation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Intermediate in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Estimated compensation for this position:

85,000.00 - 96,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
