  • Pay: $27-$30/Hr. Ideally, you bring experience that aligns with this range.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend support; shifts starting at 4:30am.

TGM Technician will work out of the City of Hope, supporting distribution and providing deliveries on campus and to user locations. Provide liquid and compressed gas cylinders via Airgas truck. Coordinate inventory of Airgas Cylinders at customer site locations. The TGM Service Technician builds client relationships by addressing the customer's needs, while maintaining a safe work environment that supports the clients' customers. The position is designed for full-time attendance at the customer site.

  • Collaborates with customer regarding cylinder gas inventory par levels.

  • Adapts inventory levels to accommodate customers' seasonal demands.

  • Coordinate orders through Airgas.com.

  • Document cylinder gas inventory usages using either Google forms or Google sheets.

  • Support the organization of empties from full and in-use cylinders.

  • Rotate all non-specialty gas products every 30 days.

  • Conduct scheduled rounds to maintain par levels at all locations within the facility.

  • Pickup and return empty cylinders to storage area(s) to insure return to production facility.

  • Monitor and receive cylinder gas deliveries to insure accurate delivery documentation.

  • Change out gas/liquid cylinder manifolds at the service sites.

  • Align with all applicable facility guidelines and procedures, as well as all applicable Airgas Standards and regulatory guidelines including, but not limited to: SAFECOR, HS&E, JHACO, CGMP, OSHA, etc.

  • Contribute to the workflow as per existing procedures.

  • Assess situations and connect with the team for proper assistance when confronted with challenges.

  • Provide support during emergency situations to insure uninterrupted supply of product.

  • Conduct cylinder audits at specified intervals.

  • Partner with the local safety department to insure hospital personnel safely handle and store medical gas products.

________________________ Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements

  • Hazmat IS REQUIRED. CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS THEY CURRENTLY HAVE THEIR HAZMAT

  • Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements

  • No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years

  • No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years

  • Must be able to work in a drug-free environment

  • Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment

  • Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cylinder filling and handling experience

  • Ability to understand gas measurement, pressure regulation, and protection regulations.

  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
