Role Description

Principal Strategic Partner Managers own and grow Citrix's most critical partner relationships and serve as the business lead for a small portfolio of toptier strategic partners.This role is accountable for defining and executingjoint business plans and gotomarket (GTM) priorities,ensuring that customer adoption is driven through these key partners, and delivering measurable business outcomes aligned to Citrix'sgrowth priorities.Theyact as the main liaison between Citrix and strategic partners, overseeing long-term strategy, annual plans, and cross-functional efforts for shared success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the endtoend business performance of assigned strategic partners, including revenue growth, pipeline quality, and GTM execution.

  • Define, execute, and remain accountable for joint annual operating plans (AOP) and longterm partner strategies, including investment priorities, growth motions, and success metrics.

  • Ensure Citrixstrategic priorities, product direction, and GTM motions are embedded into partner business plans and translated into executable sales plays.

  • Orchestrate partner enablement, technical readiness, and operational alignment in collaboration with enablement,customer success, and support teams to achieve measurable business outcomes.

  • Serve as the senior executive interface between strategic partners and Citrixleadership, leading executive engagement, alignment, and issue resolution.

  • Partner closely with global partner programs, distribution, and internal business units to improve partner experience, operational efficiency, and scale.

  • CollaboratewithGTMleadership to define joint account strategies,identifypriority opportunities, andexecute coordinated engagement plans.

  • Provide actionable partner and field feedback to influence program design, GTM strategy, andoperatingmodel improvements.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience:At least 8 years of proven success in partner management, go-to-market (GTM) leadership, or business development roles.

  • Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with the global IT software industry,demonstratingan understanding of competitive landscapes and market dynamics.

  • Joint Initiatives:Experience in developing and executing joint GTM strategies and co-marketing efforts in collaboration with partners.

  • Strategic Engagement:Experiencebuilding strategy plans and engaging with key partners.

  • Collaboration:Proven ability to influence and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and marketing.

  • Communication:Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior internal and external stakeholders.

  • Leadership:Demonstratedcapability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive executionwithout formal authority.

  • Adaptability:Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments whilemaintaininga strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes.

Travel

  • Willingness to travel asrequiredto support partner and business priorities.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.
NY generally ranges: $180,510-$270,764
CA generally ranges: $188,358-$282,536
All other locations fall under our General State range: $156,965-$235,447
