Site Manager - US Commercial Circuits

Moog's Commercial Circuits Business Unit (MCCBU) is a critical part of Moog's Space and Defense Group, a global leader in motion and flow control technologies supporting satellites, launch vehicles, missiles, naval platforms, and military ground vehicles. We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead operations at our new Salt Lake City, Utah manufacturing facility, one of two core printed circuit card assembly (CCA) locations for the business unit. This highimpact leadership role reports directly to the Business Unit General Manager and is responsible for building site capability from the ground up while delivering 100% quality and 100% ontime delivery for our internal and external customers.

As a Site Manager, you will:

Lead Site Operations & Performance

  • Lead the overall operational, financial, and strategic performance of the Salt Lake City site, including responsibility for profit and loss, balance sheet performance, and operational results.
  • Establish and lead a site leadership team accountable for quality, delivery, cost, growth, and employee engagement.
  • Build a highreliability circuit card assembly operation capable of meeting stringent Space and Defense quality and performance requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement to maximize throughput, efficiency, and product cost competitiveness.
  • Execute site growth initiatives, including capability expansion and alignment with longterm supply chain strategies.

Lead People, Culture & Capability

  • Build a strong site culture aligned with Moog's values of mutual trust & respect, teamwork, and longterm development.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor managers, engineers, and technical teams to strengthen site capability and succession planning.
  • Create an inclusive, engaging workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and proud of the work they do.
  • Partner closely with HR and Finance to support workforce planning, leadership development, and performance management.

Support Customers & Programs

  • Partner with the Business Unit General Manager in customer engagement, ensuring transparency, operational readiness, and delivery performance.
  • Ensure exceptional product quality and ontime delivery to both internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with Program Management and Engineering to align resources, proactively resolve issues, and support new product introductions and modernization efforts.

Collaborate Across the Business

  • Work closely with the Cork, Ireland site to align processes, share best practices, and ensure consistent performance across Business Unit locations.
  • Contribute to planning for future factory expansions and dedicated manufacturing areas.
  • Engage regularly with Space and Defense Group and Business Unit leadership to review performance, address risks, and maintain strategic alignment.

Execute Strategy & Drive Results

  • Deliver sitelevel results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, financial performance, and employee engagement.
  • Support Business Unit strategic planning related to capacity, capital investment, technology roadmaps, and longrange operational strategy.
  • Identify risks and opportunities early and lead corrective or proactive actions to ensure longterm site and business success.

To be considered for the role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in electronics manufacturing or
  • 5+ years in electronics manufacturing and 5+ years in highreliability production environments
  • Strong endtoend understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, quality systems, and engineering interfaces
  • Demonstrated success leading complex operations and delivering measurable performance improvements
  • Experience leading diverse teams and developing leadership capability and succession plans
  • Strong business judgment, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to work fulltime onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah

  • Experience building or scaling manufacturing operations from the ground up
  • Background in highreliability, regulated manufacturing environments (aerospace, defense, space, or similar)
  • Experience partnering across multiple sites or global operations

Salary Range Transparency:

Salt Lake City, UT $170,000.00-$200,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
