About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Cloud DEV SecOps III to join us

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Cloud DEV SecOps III integrates development, security, and operations disciplines to deliver secure, automated, and continuously improving software and infrastructure delivery pipelines for TSA's cloud-hosted systems.
  • This individual designs and implements CI/CD pipelines, automates security scanning and compliance checks within the development lifecycle, and ensures that all cloud-deployed software and infrastructure meet DHS and TSA security policies before reaching production.
  • The Cloud DEV SecOps III works across engineering and security teams to embed security as a mission enabler rather than an afterthought, reducing risk while accelerating delivery velocity across the TALON project portfolio.
  • Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining DevSecOps toolchains encompassing source control, automated testing, vulnerability scanning, container security, and infrastructure-as-code; designing secure deployment architectures for containerized workloads on platforms such as Kubernetes and ECS; and establishing monitoring and alerting capabilities that support ongoing compliance with FISMA controls and DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) requirements.
  • The Cloud DEV SecOps III also contributes to the development of TSA's cloud security baselines, provides technical guidance on hardening approaches, and supports incident response activities related to cloud-hosted systems.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related disciplines is required, with demonstrated proficiency in CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), container technologies, infrastructure-as-code tools, and cloud security services.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices within FISMA-governed federal environments is strongly preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or equivalent are valued.
  • All personnel must be U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents with the ability to obtain TSA fitness determination and handle Controlled Unclassified Information.

Background Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
