Position Summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Specialty Surgery Surgical Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice. Responsibilities

  • First Assists in Operations on cancer surgery
  • On call for practice and ER as needed for the practice
  • Independently manages Hospital based care
  • Has specialized training or practice focused on surgical oncology
  • Independently manages outpatients
  • Develops plan of care for surgical oncology patients
  • Coordinates patient care with other specialties
  • Supervises RN and MAs in the treatment of surgical patients
  • Develops educational tools for patients
  • Educates patients on their disease

Requirements

  • Washington State Nurse Practitioner license by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
