FTE: 0.6 FTE, Shift: Day, Schedule: weekdays For additional information, please contact carolyn.brightharp@multicare.org #LI-CB2 Position Summary The Primary Care ARNP provides routine medical care in a 70-bed involuntary inpatient psychiatric facility. This role involves conducting medical examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, and managing medical treatment for routine problems.Responsibilities Perform routine H&Ps for every new admission Assess and manage medical conditions, including acute complaints and chronic illnesses Complete Treatment Plan goals for medical care as part of an interdisciplinary team Consult with psychiatric providers regarding co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions Prescribe, monitor, and evaluate results of prescribed medications Order and interpret laboratory tests as required for medical care Provide substance withdrawal management as needed Accurately and appropriately document medical care provided Implement antimicrobial stewardship practices Perform other duties as assigned Requirements A graduate degree from an advanced nursing education program accredited by a national nursing accreditation body recognized by the United States Department of Education An active Washington state RN license, without sanctions or restrictions State NP license Current CME hours to maintain licensure Family Medicine Certification of Completion from the American Nurse Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Registration capability with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $139,200.00 - $155,200.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
