Position Summary: The Brand Equity Specialist is responsible for monitoring, enforcing, and supporting the company's Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policies to protect brand value, maintain fair market pricing, and ensure compliance among authorized retailers. They will have strong attention to detail, analytical skills and proficiency with monitoring tools, as well as effective communication and conflict-resolution abilities. The Brand Equity Specialist consistently documents findings, tracks compliance, and supports cross-functional initiatives. They will work independently and in a team environment collaborating with Commercial Sales, Customer Service, IT, Legal, Marketing and SIG SAUER customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Communicate with Account Managers, Distributors, Box Stores, Dealers, and internal departments regarding MAP issues and resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with Marketing, Finance, Commercial Sales, Shipping, and Receiving team members.
  • Process and monitor orders throughout the process from order entry to successful delivery.
  • Monitor MAP software system on a daily basis to identify potential MAP and MTP offenders.
  • Conduct ongoing interaction with IT Department in the development and expansion of MAP monitoring software.
  • Perform daily verification of potential MAP violations.
  • Prepare electronic and verbal communications to potential MAP offenders and assigned field sales team.
  • Complete weekly, monthly, and YTD reporting on frequent MAP offenders and disposition of account(s).
  • Ongoing development and enhancement of overall MAP Program across all product lines - including firearms, accessories, optics, silencers and air guns.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
  • Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.


Education/Experience & Skills:



  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2+ years' of previous experience with telesales, business development, or program management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience in a variety of monitoring tools.
  • Ability to prepare and distribute reports independently, and according to the appropriate timeframe.
  • Strong collaborator and trusted resource for the field who consistently applies a solution-focused mindset.
  • Detailed oriented with creative problem-solving skills and the ability to get things done.
  • Ability to troubleshoot functional firearms issues.
  • Demonstrate strong conflict-resolution skills and the ability to clearly articulate pricing policies, maintain positive retailer relationships, and provide accurate, detailed documentation while responding promptly and professionally to inquiries.
  • Ability to understand and disseminate technical product information.
  • Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.
  • Familiarity with Oracle a plus


Working Conditions:



  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
